He said this was absolutely the last time that he would ever run any race car with the #3 on the door. And he took the mother@#$&er to victory lane.

I have a bowling ball in my throat right now, so that's all I'm gonna say except for this:
Dale Sr., is smiling. Dale Jr, did him (Sr.) and himself proud.

I have to admit that was pretty awesome to see. What got to me was Tony Eury Jr. reaction. He was so choked up that he could barely do an interview. I hope that it is the last time the 3 is raced as it was most fitting for Jr. to get a win in it.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to the race tonight. Hoping for lots of good side by side racing and passing. Will be interesting to see if Tony and Denny can get their cars to the front what with starting in the back and no laps on the back up cars.
