With All-Star Qualifying already a wash at Charlotte Motor Speedway, the rain has finally stopped and jet-dryers are currently on the track to try and permit the last four Showdown runners to get thier licks in at the pole position.
The purpose of the Showdown is to try and earn a spot in the main All-Star race, if they have not already done so. The way that is done is to be a past Cup Champion (Ten Years). to have won a pole or a race Since 2009, or be a former All-Star Race Winner. The final participant in the Big Show will be determined by a fan vote.
